For a while we had elderly guests who preferred to boil eggs every morning. They like timing their eggs with this type of timer. Although this timer looks just like the old fashioned ones, the time displayed is far from accurate. If the timer is set to go past the last 45 minutes and then rolls back to the desired time, there's only a long way to go. For example, if properly set to 5 minutes, the call actually picks up about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes before the end of the 5 minute period. It then continues to tick for the rest of the time. This timer is basically useless and a waste of money. If I can send it back without shipping costs I will. Don't waste your money or TIME on it.
