First, let's put aside that this is NOT a gaming laptop. You will have a bad time if you try to use this for gaming. Secondly, if you're buying it for what it's designed for (a basic budget laptop) it seems like it'll fit the bill. I bought it to trade stocks while traveling. I have downloaded and set up my trading software and everything looks fine. It moves at the speed I expected given the hardware. I have 16GB of RAM. I don't know how people survive on 8GB these days. The Windows 10 S format it ships in (just a more secure version that limits what you can download) is very easy to change as the description says. Literally like two clicks. I also recommend running a Windows update when you get it to ensure you have the latest and greatest versions of Windows and AMD. The processor is the weak link here, so there's not much you can do with it. The only odd thing I noticed is that the time doesn't sync, so I had to change it manually. Not a very big problem and not because of this seller. Rather, it's a known issue with Windows 10, so I won't blame the seller for being able to change it manually. Hopefully a future update will fix this, but the lack of automatic time changes due to Daylight Saving Time etc. will no doubt be annoying. Nice little machine for simple tasks and not too much at a time. Of course, the amount of resources Chrome consumes is a crime against humanity. There's little you can do other than buy a more expensive laptop with better components if you want to open 50 tabs, plus a bunch of other programs. I'll come back to update if anything changes.
