Obviously I got the end of the barrel. My wood would be classified as Class B. It is mottled and grooved. The corner is damaged and appears to be a rough unfinished stain. I just bought a full sized board and a lead that is way too high for my liking when it hits their board. I knew the KB was going to be an adjustment but this 30.00 is damaged in packaging, packed in the wrong box (marked onyx so it's 3 quality control issues) and MY AT LEAST low quality wood. I agree. It was an unnecessary waste of money. Good wood, undamaged board is all I wanted. This WOOD, and I don't understand what the US grade is, is 2B GENERAL heartwood. I don't know if they are all like this, but this one is cheap. I could get the same low quality, no rework DIP from Lowes WITH NO ADHESIVE BACKING WORKING as the cast and just glue it to the belt sander for about 9.00. Retail trade. I am dissatisfied and now have 2 thoughts on the keyboard. If I have a discount of 1 then so be it, it's coming back after I bought and received another item from another company, but if it's ok in terms of quality then I'll worry about the quality of the keyboards until I decide to return them. I know the tree, but I don't know the keyboard.
