Ink cannot be properly removed from the roll head.

I paid extra for the ALUMINUM Roller Ready tool after seeing the plastic version break according to reviews. I thought this would be useful for my winter painting projects as there is no external hose and nozzle due to freezing. What a disappointing result of this remedy! No drill spins fast enough to remove ALL the paint from my 18" or 9" roller heads. Too much sticks deep in the mind to be considered "clean" by any means. I just keep it for emergencies. Otherwise I use a short hose and nozzle attached to the sink. This is the ONLY way to get it right.
