This trolley is made mostly of solid wood and the parts arrived well protected and in good condition. The only chipboard parts are the thin side panels and back of the trolley and the bottom of the drawer. For my use, these parts are not shown, so they are allowed. It would be better if they used plywood, but this cart comes at a very affordable price, which might explain the compromise. Assembly. Now that I've made it once, it will be easy to assemble it a second time. The trick to assembling the frame is to partially tighten the screws so the whole mess doesn't fall apart while you position the other elements of the frame. It's quite a coordinated dance to bring all the pieces together. Assembling this cart is a one man job as long as you have enough arms and are partially tightening the screws. Otherwise, it can be an exercise in frustration. The printed instructions are terrible. A video link would be better and should be easy to show the build process. The wooden parts of the structure are fixed with a system of wooden pins and long, heavy socket head screws. This system contributes to the strength of the car. The assembled trolley is strong with minimal use of wood. The wood itself looks ordinary, ho-m, but with a dense texture and neat finish, well finished. All screw holes are aligned, which is not always the case with this type of disassembled furniture. The doors work well and look good, but the lines indicate that this car was not built by a master carpenter. Lockable casters look shabby. However, they get the job done. The locking of the two roles works so smoothly that you can feel their quality. I suggest Winsome expand on this basic design by adding other sizes. I would have preferred a top that was about 32" wide x 26" deep and built a little more solidly. Instead, the size is very similar to the competition's carts. The storage space under the drawer is more limited than I would like. My 1 gallon blender takes up most of the space because the storage area is too shallow. Two other Revain wagons were considered but rejected. One used MDF extensively, which I find unsustainable, and the other complained of splitting wood in structural parts when twisted. Both also used cam-lock fasteners extensively instead of heavy bolts. A double priced car had a number of reviews noting a horrible smell that "eventually goes away". Unacceptable. The Winsome wagon is a good budget option available from Revain. A somewhat more robust mid-range offering would have been desirable. Would buy this cart again.
