Unreliable on external hard drives

Do not buy this drive. I have a lot of mobile hard drives and was in a dilemma and bought this shock absorbing external hard drive. Street life has failed. I travel a lot but I keep all my hard drives in Pelikan travel cases. It broke after about 3 months and it took hours to do the actual work of recovering data from this less durable hard drive. I would suggest sticking with a more well known brand.
