Ideal for replacing hard-slip doorsteps. The old doorstop had a hard plastic nose and this rubber nose does a great job extending and retracting without snagging. Anyone who installs this must bring their own screws. Numerous reviews mention this, but I used the screws provided and in less than a month the doorstop started falling off. There is not enough thread entering the door to hold the screw. The screws they give you appear to be self tapping screws so you really only get 2-3 threads that really hold the door in place. as long as you don't remove any part of the tree. I suggest using a 1" or 1 1/4" #8 screw (measure the thickness of the doors before buying a screen that is too long).
