The bracket that attaches the wiper to the J-hook of your vehicle is made entirely of plastic. I have nothing against plastic things as long as they can withstand the rigors of the job they're intended for. In this case however, within 2 weeks of installation we had snow which was quite wet at first and then the temperature dropped. My car is at work. After warming up the car (remote start), I go outside and clear away the remaining snow. The lower half of the windshield is free of snow. I get in the car and turn on the wipers to check. Snow and ice fly, as does my new wiper blade. I go outside and look, the plastic strut is cut in half. Clean broken plastic. Not worth the hassle of a warranty repair and I needed a replacement NOW. The next time I bought a wiper, I made sure that the holder was made of metal.
