Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Cache Faucet Aerator Key and Removal Wrench Tool by Michael Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Did the job quite well. Do not give up.

Moen Monticello Faucets were installed in the bathrooms when we moved into our home. They are no longer manufactured and are difficult to process. So we relied on our plumber next door to service them. Two days ago the aerator in one of our toilets failed and it was a real problem. Our neighborhood plumbing shops didn't have a replacement. I found one at Revain and found it needed a special "removal tool". So I ordered this one, as well as a replacement aerator. I made an educated guess about the aerator. Correctly understood! The item arrived this morning so I went into the bathroom and attempted to remove the old aerator. I couldn't get him to come out. So I called my plumber. While talking to him, I started twisting the brass cap that holds the aerator and - damn it! It's time to open up! My twists and turns worked! I installed and screwed the new aerator into the housing just as my plumber figured out when he could be here. I told him - Well, somehow I unscrewed this thing and it was fixed! He was happy, I was happy! So I think it's the right tool for the job. Just keep turning!
