I've only had it for a few days, but so far I'm very satisfied. It arrived in A+ condition, MUCH earlier, like new, diagnostics (F12 at boot) are good, and it's a lively, very capable machine with a great display (top of my request was a matte screen, which I use is exposed to very bright light and fully meets this requirement). My only disappointment is that it doesn't have separate volume/mute buttons (it has Fn +/- volume, not that handy, I think I'll get used to it). One surprise: I assumed there would be no general insurance, so I found a deal early on with Progressive, $200+ for 3 years, $50 deductible. Okay I thought not great but I'll buy it after I get the laptop. When I checked out they were offering 4 year no deductible insurance for about $150. That's a lot for a 3 year old laptop, surprisingly it's not mentioned in the description. Update 3 days later: I found a few issues with the software that they should have figured out before shipping. I contacted them and they immediately sent me a UPS return label for a replacement, but it takes over a week to get it back with a mirror image of this one that he customized exactly to my specifications. Not an attractive idea. Luckily it's still under warranty so I contacted Dell. After being disabled twice, the 3rd agent fixed it well. So a word of caution: if you get this, have someone with an IT background check it out (I'm a bit smarter than the average IT bear, so at least I knew where to look for problems). Unfortunately, I'll reduce my rating to 4 stars.
