It was perfect for my twin boy and twin girl's birthday party. I wanted to throw my little girl a princess party, but I had a theme that would include my son. We created a princess/knight/kingdom/fairytale theme. The tablecloth looked quirky, helped me avoid over abundance of the pink princess and helped bring all the decorations together. It's a thin plastic material. The closest I can compare it to is a silver rescue blanket, but it has texture. If you're worried about the case, you might not like the way it is, but that didn't bother me in the slightest. It doesn't tear and washes out easily. I folded it and plan to use it again one day.
