The cable does what it should and is well made.
I have an HP DesignJet 800 printer and HP has stopped providing device driver updates. I was using this over an ethernet connection, but it became unstable because a Windows 10 update forced me to use a USB connection. The problem is that the maximum recommended length for USB cables is 16 and my printer is far away. Although this cable was longer than recommended, it worked great for me. I doubted it would work and was very pleasantly surprised that it worked. I couldn't get enough of it :-)
