I typically wear a large in form fitting pants and items with elastic but Best Buy recommend an XL. I’d say stick to your normal size unless you are someone whose back muscles are easily affected by elastic waistbands. There’s room for 1 1/2 people in the waist but it doesn’t look massive on. How sheer it is caused it’s return for me. Had it had maybe 2-3 more layers of tulle it would be perfect! But the 2 layers it offers allow you to see straight through to the black slip underneath and we needed a fuller looking item. The lack of layers made it look cheap
