I must just say that my not giving it 5 stars is only related to what I consider room for improvement. The product functions perfectly, and given that you can pay about the same price for a single USB A-to-USB C dongle, or pay much more for a practically identical product to this, it is a breathtaking tech value. That said, I began to sit on it one day by mistake, and while nothing broke, it did give me reason to worry that some day, an accident could really mess this device up. My gravest fear (and perhaps it's unfounded) is that the USB-C ports which plug into the MacBook might get stuck in there if something bad happened and the rest of the hub snapped off. I know it isn't news that using a product wrongly and breaking it is undesirable, and perhaps I shouldn't hold it against the product, but my thinking is that they could build it with a shell which slightly curves under the outer edge of the MacBook's body, rather than curving away from it. I'm imaging the plastic case of this device just cupping underneath the MacBook. Perhaps those few millimeters wouldn't make a difference, but I am simply always in a state of worry while using this that if dropped or bumped, or if a cat came by and walked on it or whatever, that it would get mangled while plugged into the computer because those two tiny plugs are literally the only thing supporting the entire device.Again. I'm not saying not to buy this unit. I am emphatically saying *do* buy it if it suits your needs. Just be aware, it feels like an accident waiting to happen, and treat it as if it is fragile.
