Some other reviews said that these solar panels only keep the battery percentage and don't recharge batteries. Well I had 3 cameras at 95%, 95% and 78% when I installed these panels. My garden is well lit, so two cameras that were 95% charged were fully charged in the same day. I was concerned about the 3rd camera, which was only 78%, 1) because it was draining faster than the other two due to a swaying branch that was constantly triggering the motion sensor, and 2) because the solar panel was placed in one spot, where this was the case one doesn't really get much direct sunlight. During the last week I have seen this camera charge increase by 2-3% every day and now it stays at 100%. So yes, solar panels will charge your cameras, even cameras that are too sensitive and trigger too often. I've only had the panels for about a week so I can't and can't comment on the durability of the product. It doesn't say how well they will handle the winter season with snow and very little sunlight. Given that cameras can last quite a while even without panels, I think this setup will be fine. One of my cameras is mounted very high and I really don't like climbing stairs up there to charge the battery so I'm very happy with this product. I don't even normally write reviews but I was so concerned about Arlo's battery life that I was tempted to return all my cameras but now I don't need them anymore.
