Not minimalist enough

When it comes to minimalist wallets, I think I've used one of the best over the last few years. A minimal wallet is one that closes almost completely when it contains money and credit cards. I have a good leather that does just that. The product photo is misleading. The manufacturer shows a folded wallet that is empty. I've attached a photo of what it looks like when you put items inside. I felt like when I was considering switching to an AirTag pocket wallet, I gained weight in the process. After all, it's difficult to add a bulky AirTag to a wallet and still consider it minimalist. This wallet from Wรผstentre is very good for the most part. It is quite pretty and its pattern gives it a classy look. This is my first carbon fiber transition from leather. While leather is a very durable fabric, carbon fiber wallets have the highest tensile strength. For that reason, I assume this wallet will hold up quite well. The outer shell should be scratch-resistant. Putting the AirTag in my wallet was a little fiddly. You insert the label through the front side pocket, but there is little "wiggle room" to insert it fully and you need to make sure it gets under the wraparound circular tab at the rim. I imagine the hassle of applying the label also means it will be a lot harder to fall out. I ran a few tests, put the wallet in and out of my pocket and the label didn't move. It looks safe enough. This wallet appears to hold a maximum of 8 credit cards - and that's less than my minimalist leather wallet, so I had to choose what to include. Two cards are inserted from the outside of the wallet (one of them is ejected when pressed with a finger). Inside are three slots that can hold two cards each. Now I don't see any official statement in the product description of how many cards this wallet needs to hold to keep its "minimalist" moniker, so I may have overloaded the wallet. a little. It just seemed to me that 8 cards fit in comfortably. There is a separate window for your driver's license. Trouble is, once you slip in your AirTag, credit cards, and some cash, you fold your wallet and find it. .it's a bit awkward. I wouldn't say it's a big problem but I immediately missed my old leather wallet which almost completely collapsed with many items inside. My final thoughts are that the fact that this wallet isn't exactly minimalist isn't a manufacturer's fault. . It seems to me that here is a difficult choice for anyone who wants to put AirTag in their wallet. That's the problem I'm facing. Adding the somewhat unwieldy AirTag to the spec means the wallet has to be compromised. If you need to make room to house it, make room for something else. Which is more important: being able to track your wallet or being able to fold it up completely in your pocket? It's more important to me at the moment to keep an overview and I have to give up the compactness. If you buy this wallet and know the cons, you won't be disappointed with its overall quality and it should do an excellent job of keeping the AirTag in place and tracking its loss.
