Don't worry. Didn't create the soft, perfect curls I was hoping for. It's not too hot to hold with bare fingers, so that's a plus. But I'm having trouble getting my hair to cling to the velvet part to curl. There weren't enough big curlers either - and I also have LOTS of hair. I think this would be perfect for someone with thick or not so thick hair. I bet they will be amazing with the right hair. I just had a mediocre experience. Maybe they should be hotter, but I know people don't want to burn their hair. I think it's just my hair type that doesn't make it amazing. I do not regret the purchase because I think I will use it better.
