These headphones are far from suitable for all genres and directions of music - instrumental music with a rich ambient component, pads and percussion, all kinds of electronics and some rap (if it is well mixed) sound best in them. Illustrative examples: 2Cellos - Mombasa, Andy Leech - Aerolith, Oscuro - Forget Me Not, Miyachi - Wakarimasen. Rock sounds rather tight, genres with an emphasis on vocals do not reveal their potential. Headphones are far from monitor ones - they were specially tuned for a certain sound. They are musical, they embellish, they give a honey bass with sub-bass, and the sound in them seems to float around you in the air - the stereo image is very good, as far as it is possible for closed ears. Compared to the Sennheiser M3 AEBT XL, they are similar in sound, but the zenhees are bassier, and their bass is more booming and punchy. And the cups of zenhs are bigger and softer, they are more comfortable for big ears. In general, I originally came to buy zenkhs, but despite their convenience, they still seemed too bassy to me, and I settled on these. Also worth noting is Audeze Mobius and Audio-Technica ATH-DSR9BT - both of these options sound more even and balanced, new and old rock sounds good in Mobius, and I would describe Audio Technique as "high-sharp resolution".
