I have been fortunate to have a very high quality built-in espresso machine in the place where I used to live. This car cost $5,000. Is this suitable? Nearly! Of course, you need to keep Dinamica in context. $5,000 espresso machines (the good ones, at least) are expensive, and with good reason. So if you're a true coffee connoisseur, able to differentiate between types of beans, want to stuff and customize the coffee frother, Dinamica might not be for you. But if you appreciate a very good coffee drink and want some control over your coffee, the Dinamica will be one of the best machines you can have. In the end it came down to Philips PicoBarista and Dinamica. I chose De'Longhi because the Philips was too automated and I needed the iced coffee function. Some reviews note that iced coffee doesn't make a true cold drink. I don't think the manufacturer was aiming for true cold brew, but rather the ability to make the best iced coffee drink. As mentioned, espresso still thins the ice, so I add the sweetener to the cup, boil it without ice, stir, and then pour the espresso into a glass full of ice and milk to make a delicious Iced Latte. You still get the benefits of this feature without watering it down too much. Other reviewers were amazed by the facility and its understanding. Setup was easy. Compared to programming VCRs in the '80s or assembling IKEA furniture, this was child's play. It was also not difficult to study all the subtleties. While I had some experience with the expensive machine mentioned above, I don't think the Dinamica was difficult if you focused on learning one function at a time. So, find out how to make espresso. And come up with something different the next day. Foaming is a lot of fun. The quality of the foam can take the weight of the caramel sauce on it, so not bad for the little guy! Once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder why you thought you were blown away. In short, this little machine packs a lot more punch than its weight. Dinamica not only prepares coffee-like beverages, but also lets the creative inner barista open up. Before you know it, you'll be making all sorts of drinks and ordering different syrups to spice up the dishes. Thank goodness I tended to use this machine during a recent orphanage drama instead of baking cookies - I probably saved a few pounds!
