In all fairness, I am not someone who has ever owned a pair of expensive designer sunglasses, so I can't speak to that comparison. After shopping around and reading reviews, I decided on these ones. They seem to be great quality. Very sturdy, but lightweight. I got the gun metal frames. The polarization is excellent. I love the way they look and fit. I have a large nose, so glasses in general have to be a certain fit for me. They came with a very nice case with cleaning cloth. I have never owned a pair of sunglasses this nice for under $30. Buy a pair, you won't regret it.
