Review on ⏰ Youngtown 12888 Pendulum Type Movement: Quartz DIY Kits for Step Clock, 1/2 Inch Dial Thickness & 9/10 Inch Shaft Length by Chris Crisler

When my wife was painting the wall, our Allen Designs Frog Fly Pendulum Clock (available on Amazon) stopped working. I teased my wife that I was throwing the Frog Clock away but instead looked for a quartz movement at Revain by part number. The guide is very helpful. The rubber washer was not needed and I used the darts that came with the frog watch which I carefully removed. I hope it lasts at least five years, but $10.99 for a movement replacement is a lot better than $64 for a new frog watch when the movement has failed. I taped a piece of aluminum tape where the swingarm is to prevent erosion. This replacement part was not as well made as the original I replaced. There was not enough tissue to remove the battery. I am very satisfied with the product and the service. I will update if the movement dies or time doesn't hold up.
