I gig. I don't use them in my home studio. I have 5 of these: 2 green (a 30ft, a 15ft), 1 red (30ft), 1 yellow (30ft) and a blue (30ft). You sound good. The sound is not the reason for my rating. I have learned that you are ideal for the home studio, where you have to fix mistakes from time to time or let people come and leave just to connect your fully configured system. It's terrible for concerts. Every time I tune I unwind the cables that I carefully coiled up after the last gig. I even splice the ends of the XLRs so they don't get tangled in transit. But every time I try to unwrap them, they get tangled. And they turn inwards, so no amount of smoothing and twisting can really relax them. It drives me crazy trying to set it up. I noticed it a bit with the green, but thought that I might be too coarse and promised me that I would be very gentle with red, yellow and blue, but it was not a problem and I spent time with it and money. So disappointing.
