First Impression: Sous Vide Machines

Seems to be a very good storage rack for sous vide cooking bags. Haven't used any of my new materials yet, but judging by the reviews, a lot of people use freezer bags instead of vacuum bags. I have FoodSaver vacuum sealers and a Waring packer so I shouldn't run into floating bags, but I went with this rack just in case. It folds flat and when folded the parts are held together with Velcro. A GOOD velcro that should last forever. The side rails fold down and you slide in the rack pieces to fit your bags. If necessary, place a crossbar at the top to keep the bags from floating up. The shelf is stainless steel so rusting shouldn't be an issue, but I'll update this review if I run into any issues. The shelf fits nicely in the Rubbermaid 12 liter container that seems to be so popular, with room to spare. So there is no problem installing sous vide indoors using a rack. I am very happy with the stand. It appears to be very well made and designed. Also, this is the only rack I've seen that solved the floating pocket issue!
