I had a bit of trouble assembling the mount as the instruction manual was a bit difficult to understand but the pieces fit together easily. I haven't actually used the manual, but it's up! I'm reckless, so if I can do it, so can you! I also wouldn't recommend using this for large monitors over 22 inches, very sketchy. I've only used it on my 22", I was going to use it on my 27" but it seemed a little intimidating so don't do it. When you're only getting this for one monitor, it's easy to hide
