It was a perfect purchase. Modern look! The fan is very quiet, even on its highest setting - if you say it's loud, you probably haven't adjusted it correctly. I will say that it took some time to install, but in the end we got everything set up (and we are not skilled people). The main reason I'm writing this review has to do with the lighting - bad lighting reviews are mixed. We had a fan for a year and thought it was giving off bad light and for some reason no other bulbs worked! Okay, that's because it's a dimmable light! But when you press the light button, it is initially in the softest position. Hold down the light button and it puts out a lot of light, and you don't need any extra bulbs or lighting! This is a fantastic product.
