I need to prepare well before I start anything. I needed a salad bowl to eat more veggies every day. I bought this because of the bright red case. Looked attractive to me. This works very well. Shaking the lettuce by hand will not properly remove all of the water. Then the salad dressing is diluted and just doesn't taste the same anymore. It takes no effort to turn the handle and the bowl is big enough to hold enough greens without crushing them. I live with a bright red lid, but it has a rubber bottom to keep it from slipping while spinning. A plus! I like to use this every day.
