This is a very cute pattern, we love how original it is and how it looks with our tree. We replaced our old fluffy white wood "snow" skirt with this one and it took us a while to get used to it as it looks a bit busier. But with the retro woody look we're seeing on our tree, it actually looks pretty cool. Our other tree skirt has a velcro closure which I prefer to the three ties you have to tie with this one. Ribbons look cheap. The actual material is pretty flimsy, especially compared to our old fluffy wood skirt. The kids don't really like it because it's not that fun to put your head down while looking at the tree. It doesn't seem very durable, but for what we'll be using once a year for a month, just sitting on the floor I think it's good enough.
