Exceeded Expectations

I took this solar charger on vacations to Arizona, Utah and Nevada and it performed much better than I expected. I knew that on some hikes I wouldn't have access to an outlet to charge my phone and figured this would work great in the scorching desert sun. This solar charger doesn't have its own battery, but the velcro cover fits my portable charger perfectly (see picture). Inside the case are two 2.4 amp USB ports. This allowed me to charge my portable charger and my phone at the same time. Next to the USB ports is an LED indicator that lights up when the solar panel receives enough sunlight to charge. It was very cold and snowy when we were in Bryce Canyon, Utah (see picture). To my surprise, this charger still worked without direct sunlight. He also had no problem getting a little wet from snow and rain. Overall, this charger exceeded my expectations. It could charge my phone and portable charger at the same time. If you do a lot of hiking or camping, this is definitely a worthwhile investment. You won't find another solar charger with dual 2.4 amp USB ports at this price point.
