Haven't installed it yet so can't comment on the gluing or installation. I bought three sets of 20ft LED strips with the idea of controlling all three sets with one remote. This means that they all change color at the same time, depending on a remote control. I wanted to place them above the kitchen cabinets, but there are three separate cabinet zones. It didn't work at first. Email the seller and here is the procedure.1. Take a set out of the box. Plug in the light bar and make sure the remote is working properly on the included light bar. Be sure to remove the plastic shipping tab from the remote control battery compartment. Check all remote control functions to make sure it works.2. Then switch the light to white and use the remote control to turn off the light strip and unplug the first set you just plugged in.3. Take the next set of lamps out of the box and prepare them for connection. Pick up the remote control from the first set and you're done.4. Plug in the second set (the light may turn on first, but it doesn't matter if it turns on or off at that point if it's connected) and immediately (within 5 seconds) press and hold the "Jump 3" button.5 . Soon the lights will flash several times, maybe even up to 5 or 6 times.6. Test all functions of the 1st remote control with the second set.7. Turn the light to white, turn off the light and leave it on.8. Take the first sentence and connect them. Both sets should be off if connected now. Now press the power button on the remote control. Both devices should turn on! I think the "Fade 7" key does the same thing as the "Jump 3" key. Either way, you now have one remote control to control multiple feeds! Follow the same instructions for each additional set of lights. I suppose you could program one remote for multiple strips at once if you plug them all into the same power strip and turn on the power to all strips at the same time. Although I haven't tried it. However, the process must be completed within the first 5 seconds. After 5 seconds it doesn't matter to jump button 3 or hide button 7.
