Review on Tenda Wireless Internet Beamforming AC8 by Chris Scalia

This router is very simple. I wish I'd spent a few bucks more on a different one. It was easy to set up, but I found it lacking in features. No QoS to prioritize my VoIP phone. Viewing connected devices simply shows names (if available) and IP addresses when MAC addresses might be useful. I've also had intermittent issues with WiFi devices losing connection for several minutes while wired devices stayed online. I live in a small 1,300 sq ft house and the signal around the perimeter is poor. My old router was still strong a few houses down. Both used the same point, so building materials should not cause interference. Overall, I don't hate it, but I'm not impressed with it either.
