on the whole it works, I had to repaint the stand because nothing inside makes it heavier. (Story Time) This stand is perfect if you don't want the swing arm digging into your expensive monitors. Yes, that's what happened to me. So, I'm guessing I'm putting $13 into a stand and I think it would be great to have a guest on my stream and a second mic to invest in if I'm really exploring this trail. Check out the height and max height in the pictures. This is the right height for me at this point and I'm 5ft 10" and the base isn't big enough to push out the keyboard. DIY project: supposedly to save on shipping from China, they had a certain weight limit. had to meet with their product and sent thousands at once would have cost us more to buy. That's why they didn't throw the glue as hard for us DIYers (see pics when I pushed out the center with a dull Phillips screwdriver). Use a blunt stick that isn't sharp so you don't pierce the plastic base that's touching the table. It was very easy for me and I used my fingernails to slide the outer edge down by pressing down the center of the top and it came out. The top is metal but the bottom is plastic. You can fill the bottom with heavy duty washers, I suggest stainless steel or galvanized steel, so after sealing the bottom you don't have to worry about future rusting problems and the causes of rusting plastic floor problems You never know, so be sure if you have an upcoming one plan problem. Once you feel the base is heavy enough you can start supergluing the edges. Be sure to use paper towels on the surface as the super lace is all over the place. Also wipe off any excess glue that spills out. I suggest wearing rubber gloves as you will need to handle a round object to avoid dripping the glue. Good luck and I hope this post helps you save money.
