Beautiful moleskin notebook cover - was the perfect 3rd anniversary gift for my husband who loves moleskin and uses them for his business. Loved it since the 3rd wedding anniversary is the "leather” year and he is really happy with it. It’s sturdy and really classic looking, also comes in a beautiful gift package with a nice photo of Paris and bookmark. 5 stars :)

I love the finish on this leather cover, as do my co-workers. I have been using it daily for several months and it continues to serve me well. The finish is getting the usual marks from constant use, but that adds to the character and timeless beauty of real leather. The large Moleskine fit well and the internal pen loop is a welcomed offering. This was so nice I purchased a second for my sister. Note that it does take time to arrive, but once received, the wait was well worth it.

So I think this cover is fine, my beef is that the brown color is not at all what is pictured. The brown color shipped is identical to the coffee color - even when I requested a replacement. Not really happy with it since there is more dye (which other reviews have said comes off) and the stitching is darker. The brown color as pictured has the look of more rustic, aged leather. As shipped it is just uniformly new dark leather look.

I love this and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small leather portfolio that I can use with a small tablet. I also ordered the thinnest mole skin book I could find and was able to mount my tablet with a simple case on the opposite side. Viola!I don’t know why people think this smells like leather as it brings back memories of working a summer at a shoe factory as a teen. Nice!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I carry a note book with me everywhere I go. Couple of quick reasons why I kept this cover and didnt return it like the other 5 I ordered previous.1. I hate when my notebooks looks dirty, this cover is shic and always looks professional.2. I absolutely cannot stand when the papers fall out of my notebook, this cover has a great pocket on the left side. Overall a great purchase.

I recently received this cover and bought a moleskin to put in it. For the price this is hands down the best option for a leather cover. Yes it may possibly be reconstructed or composite as some people say but from the smell, feel, and wearing it is very cool and looks like some of $100+ journal covers. This is a very sturdy leather cover. It was ground into the asphalt at 60mph and didn't even burn through on the flat sides. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because it takes a lot of time to stretch out the leather such that it will sufficiently fit cards and pens. The A5 sized notebook fits just fine. But such is the nature of thick high-quality leather.

An absolutely beautiful piece of leather craftsmanship. Just a bit too small to accommodate a Midori A5 journal, sadly. So well made, it breaks my heart to send it back.

I’ve loved using this. So good and sturdy. I actually look forward to writing in my journal each day. I’ve struggled to keep consistent but this thing was a game changer for me. Very good for a daily prayer journal or anything else you may want to record each day.

I love mine. Notebook, pen, flat plastic ruler, room for a sheet of paper or two. What more do you need? I saw some comments about the dye from the pen holder rubbing off on the notebook. Mine does that too, but it doesn't bother me.

I like the way this cover looks, but I have to say, Every time I try to write in it I smell the urinated on smell, the kind of smell That you find in cheap leather like products ( or perhaps it’s the glue holding whatever this material is together). I personally love the smell of leather, but that is not what I am smelling on this journal cover. I want to love this cover because it is the design I would definitely use but the product smells terrible. I regularly purchase leather goods from all over the world and the leather quality in this product is average but at the price point is on par with what is to be expected. However the product smells like urine. I tried airing it out for a few weeks but the smell is still just as strong.

The cover I received is not the right size.The back cover inserts just fine, but the leather cover only reaches 2/3 of the way across the front of the journal. It might work for the super thin paper moleskin but not the hard cover.

Item was simple and basic, which was exactly what I was looking for. As advertised, I use it as a cover for a daily journal. Looks great, smells great, and serves its purpose well.

The pen holder location isn’t the best, yes I know it’s where they all are but the moleskin slides forward and pushes it out. I know I am being petty just wish the design was a little diffrent

I buy allot of the Moleskine or 5" x 8.25" knock off notebooks for writing. This cover is the one I put them it. Looks cool. Feels rustic. Stitched solid. I have it off to the side of my computer right now.

I already have two Robrasim steno pad holders and a memo pad holder, so I thought I'd give this a try for my Walmart Basics Grid notebook. It exceeded my expectations for the price, and that's always a nice surprise. Smells great, looks and feels great, very sturdy, and very useful. I'm ordering another one.
