If you want dress pants, they are matte but very durable.
Great pants, don't know why I thought they looked more like a loose dress like polyester glitter (for a wedding) but my 13 year old son is still very slim hence the waist band which was even a size 14 tightened, really useful and well hidden. Don't look wrong
