I wanted this for my trip to Arizona/Grand Canyon. I wanted to take plenty of water with me but also have my hands free. An added bonus of this particular backpack is that it has extra compartments inside that easily fit snacks, sunscreen, first aid supplies, etc. I really like this backpack. Every time I filled it to the brim the fabric held tight. The inner bladder stayed cool during the day under the unforgiving Arizona sun. The backpack was a bit sweaty but actually it was nice and helped me stay cool. The great thing is that the interior storage space doesn't break a sweat at all. That means my phone and snacks are completely dry. The straps are well padded so they are comfortable to wear and not chafing like some straps can be. This feature makes it easy to wear for hours. I plan to use this backpack on many trips.
