Doesn't work out of the box BUT you can get it working with a little time and effort on your part.

I've read several reviews saying these mounts are too big/small and won't fit most Garmin GPS displays. Since Garmin doesn't sell this part separately, I decided to buy a couple of these mounts and see if I can adapt them to my own Garmin so we can move them between our cars with separate mounts. To solve the problem of the top tab (too thick) not fitting in the slots on the back of the GPS display, I thinned out the mount and tab by sanding the ring on a flat surface with a sheet of grit sandpaper 100 rubbed plastic and check fit on display. Do it little by little and keep checking until it clicks into place, but gently, not sloppily. You also need to tie the latch to hold it while looping so you don't accidentally loop the latch hook. I used a small plastic binding (zipper/wire). I also trimmed the bottom of the latch (lightly) with a needle file to ensure the hook on the latch fits fully into the slot in the display for full contact and a secure fit. Finally, I shaved (just a little) the inside diameter of the 4 lugs on the ball seat of the bracket with a hobby knife, checking the fit after each cut. A small sanding drum or Dremel tool will also work. The ball on the Garmin mounts is 17mm in diameter. The eyelets on my factory Garmin mount are just under 17mm in diameter. The Chinese staples I received were only 16mm inside diameter. Too small to attract the ball without breaking it. After trimming the 4 tabs a bit, it snaps onto the ball and holds securely like a factory mount. Just go slowly and be careful not to remove too much material. Check compliance frequently during operation. Considering the price of these mounts and the quick conversion time, it's worth it as Garmin doesn't offer these parts as accessories.
