I don't know what people are complaining about.
Mounting it was amazingly easy. I did adhere the sticky part go the underside of my cabinet and waited 24 hours before actually affixing the holder and paper towels. It didn't say to do this anywhere but with things I've purchased in the past the recommendation was usually to let the adhesion set good before adding anything.I have the super fat rolls of Bounty paper towels and I've not had any issue with excess rolling off or the rod falling out. Maybe it's because I'm not an idiot and actually use both hands once the roll gets half empty and becomes looser to roll off.

- May be difficult to remove once adhesive hardens
