This product says it can hold a 50 lb bag of dog food which will not fit in or out of the bag. It might not fit 50 pounds, 40, but not 50 indefinitely.

I needed more trash storage than a large Rubbermaid box! It fits in my large 45 pound bag of dog food and takes up less space! Also love to convince double open ends 👍🏻👍🏻

Tough, durable plastic. Hinged lid on both sides for easy everyday access on one side and a larger opening on the other side to easily fit a grocery bag. I put my bag and food in this container and the bags fit well. Putting the bag in instead of pouring food into the container keeps things clean. I have four!

I have a cat that's notorious for chasing its bag of food, punching a big hole in it and then disappearing. It doesn't matter if I put the bag in the high or low cabinet behind the childproof lock, he'll find a way to get at the damn bag and rip it apart. This container has completely solved this problem; no more torn bags, no more stale and spoiled food. And the satisfaction of knowing my cat didn't hit me.

Love this container. It's tall and thin so it doesn't take up too much space but still holds plenty of dog food. It has wheels and a handle, which comes in handy when it's full and heavy. The lid opens in two ways. One fully removable for filling and the other a small compartment for everyday use. It's a good thing that the kit comes with a spoon and there is a holder on the lid to hang it up. Very useful functions.

I originally bought a "sealed" container from another brand, but I found two problems with this company's container: 1) it wasn't airtight - I could push down on top and I can hear the air being squeezed out - so obviously it's not airtight; and 2) I have a cat who is too smart for himself and has figured out how to open it up - and not just a little, but openly. This defeated the purpose of a cat food container - if a cat could open it it would definitely destroy any way of keeping the food…
