The caps are not to blame. That's my big (7 5/8") old head! All LG/XL stretch hats tend to be a snug fit on me. I wish they were a jumbo! Store them in a hat carrier between wears , otherwise it gives me a headache :D This is the HIGHEST QUALITY hat in my collection!Men's Oakley Tin Cap Black/American Flag Large/Large **UPDATE** The hat I ordered has the American flag detail on the letter "O This is a vinyl applique (?) over a metal "O". YOU MUST BE CAREFUL WITH THE CAPS IF YOU WANT THEM TO STAY BEAUTIFUL! Mine has the decal peeling where it hits something hard meets. Material problem. You just need to be a little more careful when you care for this beautiful hat :)
