We bought a 150259 pull down hose from Costco for a Moen faucet about 4 years ago. Same problem as the old one, an invisible leak appeared somewhere along its length. This new one was 1 inch longer and the ends looked the same or even better than the original. Better, refers to the end of spraying. Compared to casting lines, metal casting has an absolutely smooth surface. small detail. This new hose feels lighter, more flexible and bends more easily. The diameter didn't seem much different and my weight held up well with no slippage. I noticed another review that said they reused the o-ring on the end of the atomizer head since the new one doesn't have one. Only time will tell if it holds up, but so far everything is looking good.
