For a long time I used budget laptops, due to my professional activities, I had to roll a hackintosh on them, but in the end I got tired of the fact that something often falls off during ates, so I decided to take a real MacBook. First of all, I liked the screen (IPS), very clear, bright enough and you can look at it from any angle, unlike budget laptops with a TN matrix. But at the same time, I don’t like gloss, I always chose laptops with a matte screen, I hope that I will quickly get used to it. The trackpad is of course gorgeous, you get used to the gestures instantly. I don’t work with graphics, so I don’t really need positioning accuracy and the mouse moved to the pantry. On previous laptops, the trackpads were so miserable that I just turned them off and used only the mouse. The keyboard is excellent: nice stroke, backlight, large buttons. Very good sound, without rattling, the aluminum body and precise fitting of parts affect. I would like the battery to be more powerful, I don’t have enough for a working day, but I often load it heavily during the day, perhaps it would last a long time in typewriter mode. Under load it becomes quite noisy, which was an unpleasant surprise. I’m not a fan of MacOS, for me W10 is now no less stable and more convenient, but it’s problematic to write under Windows under iOS. Is he worth his money? I'm not sure, if you don't need to write for iOS, MacOS and you don't depend on some specific software, then it's better to look towards cheaper, more powerful and perhaps slightly lower quality w10 laptops. Do I regret my purchase? No, this is a fairly powerful and convenient tool for my purposes, it performs its tasks perfectly.
