Just received it this week. I was initially put off by the huge box it came in. After unpacking, I noticed that the thickness of the Aslotus makes it durable. I live in a studio and it's next to my bed. The noise level is okay. I live in New York, I sleep because of the police and fire engine sirens, so it's nothing. The sleep mode is quiet. It's a slight ambient noise that I only notice when I'm falling asleep. I needed this because of the constant cigarette smoke coming into my apartment. The air quality is definitely cleaner. Highly recommended.
