Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Stylish and Functional FURINNO Compact Computer Desk with Shelves in Columbia Walnut/Black by Keerthi Forrest

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good table for the price - use wood glue to reinforce assembly and read the specs before you buy!

This is a decent desk and just what I need for a small computer in my basement. I've noticed a lot of low reviews due to the size, with reviewers saying "smaller than it looks" and other similar comments. Sizes are shown in the 2nd photo in this listing so please read before purchasing! A size that doesn't quite meet expectations at first glance is no reason to give a 1-star rating and unnecessarily hurts the rating. Now moving on to my own comments, the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the finish of the table. The panels have small chips and scratches around them due to the somewhat loose packaging, giving it an almost used look. It's not enough for me to send it back, but the manufacturer could have packed it better to prevent this. Despite minor damage, the assembled table looks nice and is stronger than expected! In addition to metal screws and locks, the table is made entirely of lightweight chipboard with plastic legs and hollow plastic tubes for posts at the ends of the shelves. Not very high end, but hey, that's a $30 table! You can't get solid wood panels at this price point without building from scratch. It's not as strong as a large, heavy table, but it won't wobble unless intentionally shaken. During assembly I used a dab of wood tar glue on each screw and dowel to add strength to the assembly and it all holds up nice and tight! If you just need a small table and nothing bothers with a cheaper feel, this is a great table! If you need something extra or want something really heavy, pay more than $30 or $40.
