Review on 🚚 Enhance Truck Bed Capacity with AMP Research 74813-00A Silver BedXTender HD Max Large Extender by Kyle Tran

I purchased this item because I added a tool box and lost almost two feet of cargo space in the process. I bought the HD MAX model or the old U-shape to increase the space. Model 74813-01A fits Ford F150 and Tundra. I gave 4 stars because of two issues. Mounting screws are not self-tapping, and this is a more serious problem. The instructions come with installation templates that are too short. I put the extension back in place, lined up the extension and used a pencil to trace the top of the brackets. They measured 11 inches at the top of the bracket. If I installed using the template provided, it wouldn't work. As they say the product looks great. I think because DOT started requiring Type V extensions for trucks in 2012 they don't have a specific extension for the 2015 Tundra.
