I was pleasantly surprised with these mugs. I read some of the other reviews and my expectations were initially low but I was willing to take the risk and buy them. First they came very securely packaged. I would have taken a photo but we repurposed the box for a school diorama already. Very sturdy foam insulation was used. The size was a little smaller than I anticipated. It holds 16 oz to the rim of the cup. So realistically about 14 oz when I’m using it. I did test it in the microwave for two minutes with about 14 oz of liquid and the cup itself was warm but not impossible to handle- always use caution with hot liquids from the microwave. They are one of the leading causes of burns so please be careful. The handle was surprisingly okay to handle. It did heat up a little but I was able to handle it comfortably. I’m always skeptical with glass mugs but I love drinking tea from them. And I really liked these mugs. 9/10 but only because I was looking for a mug closer to 20 oz. it
