I bought this capture card as a cheap alternative to the very expensive cards recommended for USB PC recording/streaming. I was surprised by the quality of the video and it ran great, no lag, 1080p image for a month or so. Until he started failing. My guess is that something broke due to the weight of the device and the strain it puts on the USB connector and header. It feels very free even when fully plugged in. The numbers break after the return period. Pros: Pretty decent output quality No lag Cheapness Cons: Imperfect block design No instructions in the box
