I received the belt yesterday afternoon and last night I fell in the snow and injured a few ribs on my left side. So I use the belt heater all day to reduce pain and swelling. Seems to be working fine. I wear it now and it became more comfortable for me to move. I bought it because I am not fully recovering from my kidney surgery and the constant pain in my side from the cut. I've used it twice in the last 24 hours for 20 minutes each and the heat and massage seems to help ease the constant pain I've lived with for five years. I'll know better in a few weeks, but for now I'm happy. The belt appears to be well made. The reason I prefer this one over the other is because it's the only one that works. Everyone else had a max waist size of about 44 inches, but I needed more. This one is great for my 48 inch waist. It's really well done and I've checked it carefully. The only thing that really bothers me is changing the battery after a few years. I haven't checked if they use a standard size battery yet. My only two hits are the lack of decent documentation. It's not that difficult to understand, but they could try to give more instructions. Also, the battery tends to fall out of the pocket when the strap is turned upside down. Not good.
