Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced KIB MP5 Screw In Sensor Probe: Optimal Performance and Accuracy by Rod Evans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I threw away the old sensors and drilled them out. Excellent!

I bought a used 2005 Coachmen Capri 29FKS that appeared to have damage to the left side undercarriage. The sway bars on the left are gone along with the resistor pack for the instrumentation and the wires for the black tank level sensors. I was planning on reusing the factory level sensors, but the mounts were rusty and nothing worked properly. So I bought some of these MP5 probes. The holes are drilled with a 3/8" drill bit. Installation is quick and easy. I left the original sensors in place as I've heard removing them could cause PITA and leaks. I just made new holes drilled for them and connected new cables to them.

Pros
  • Test Measure and Inspect
Cons
  • High Price
