I love this thing! That's easy. Easy to plug in and it gave me peace of mind if my kitty accidentally cut off the power. I could tell how long it was off. I mean for the price it's better than expected. I use mine in an egg incubator.

You must have a problem with this issue because I had to download an app to make it work. After work the accuracy needed to be calibrated and I'm still not sure if that's true. Works like a charm and is so convenient to control the hydration of what you are doing. I use this for my Wineador and it looks amazing! I wish it had a backlight and that would have been WiFi, but I knew that wasn't happening when I bought it, so I'm not complaining at all. Love it! Update: My first one just stopped working. Replaced battery and nothing. I contacted Govee and they replaced it with no problem. Excellent customer service! BIG! I will recommend them and be a regular customer too!

The main reason to buy a smart bluetooth thermometer over the WiFi version is that you expect it to work offline, but this version needs internet access to display information in the app. So if you don't have internet it can't even show live readings on your phone or tablet and just becomes a desktop thermometer/hygrometer. FIXED: I was having issues with not being able to connect to devices on my phone after the update, but Govee was quick to respond and helped me fix that to fix the problem! At the same time I like it. They seem to track closely and being able to load old data to track time and averages is great.
