Love this mortar and pestle. It looks simple and elegant, is easy to use and grinds very well. I got it in the mail last night. This morning it's time to check it out. 1. I grind up some whole peppers into dust. Then I added some garlic, basil, olive oil and got a very tasty pasta. So ahh yes it works well, it's easy to use, the ridges hold things in place and keep them in the bowl. Like grooves on a millstone, they make grinding easier. The bowl is a good size, holds a decent amount of stuff, fits comfortably in my hand and stays on the counter when needed. It is easy to clean and looks durable. This mortar and pestle will be very useful.
