First I got an ACE mount like this one. Most of these bandages appear to have a metal cut just for the bottom of your wrist. I found I could still move my wrist and injure it with just a metal splint. It has two plastic wrist connectors and they offer me a lot of support. I also like that it can be used on either wrist (left or right).
